Located in Kisatchie National Forest near Alexandria, Wild Azalea Trail and Kincaid Reservoir offers opportunities for hiking, biking and camping. Terraced campsites hug the side of the hill. There are restrooms, showers, and hookups.
Directions: From Alexandria, drive west on Louisiana Highway 28 for 12 miles to Louisiana Highway 121 at Gardner. Turn left (south) and go 0.25 mile to Forest Road 279 (Valentine Road). Turn left (east) on Hwy 279 and go 3.5 miles to Forest Road 205, where you will turn left (north) and proceed to the recreation area entrance and fee station.
