With the influx of fishing kayaks that feature Hi-Lo seating, one of the big questions we have gotten is what length paddle should be used for these boats. The answer is that to have the perfect paddle length in Hi or Lo position, an angler would need to have two paddles on board. For example, at 6’2″, I would want to have around a 230 cm paddle for a Jackson Cuda when paddling the low position. In the high position, the perfect length might be more like a 250 cm.
