Becky and I along with our entire staff are super excited to bring to Louisiana THAT paddle craft. The Swift line of Pack boats including their new line of Cruiser Pack boats will have its introduction to Lafayette during the week of November 14th. These special kayaks are stable, extremely lightweight, and so fun to paddle. These new boats were designed by Bill Swift and the team at Swift Canoe and Kayak to perfectly fit the lakes, rivers and ponds that make up the interior wilderness of Canada. This also makes them a perfect fit for the lakes, bayous and waterways of Louisiana!
When we tested these boats at the Paddlesports show this past August, we knew that they were a fit for local paddlers. The open floor plan allows you to easily bring gear with you. That gear can range from binoculars and a lunch (this is a GREAT birding craft) to camera gear (set your tripod up right in front of you) to a weeks worth of camping gear.
