Teaching Paddleboarding to the Fontenot family this evening was such a refreshing experience. To get the opportunity to teach a beautiful family learn how to stand up paddle board was so great. They say “a family that rows together grows together” I got to witness a family having a great time on the water while learning the basics of stand up.
As soon as we got on the water they were very comfortable on the boards and stood up right away. They were jumping in and out of the water in Petit Bayou at Vermilionvile, and switching boards to try out different style boards. They all caught on so quickly and were paddling like pros in no time!!
To see Mr. Fontenot and his two kids go out on the water together on SUP Boards on a beautiful afternoon was so nice. They had So Much Fun…. and that was only the 101 class!!!
I encourage anyone out there all shapes and sizes and all age groups to sign up for one of Pack & Paddle’s Stand Up trips or classes. I hope to see you all out on the water very soon.
