We are proud to announce the addition of outdoor themed art from local artists at Pack & Paddle. We are currently showing art from Kathy Dumesnil – the well known Lafayette artist specializing in local landscapes as well as fish and other art. We love her use of color and her ability to convey themes that show our local area so well. We also are showing gyotaku fish prints from P&P owners John and Becky Williams. These prints are all originals made in the traditional Japanese style. These unique art pieces are made by painting the actual fish, then doing a rubbing onto rice paper. This is then dry mounted at a local frame shop for framing.
All this art makes great gifts for the person that loves the outdoors. Or spoil yourself with something unique and original for your house or camp!
