Yesterday I was clicking through the YakAnglers Choice Award survey to vote for our friend Ben Roussell’s blog. I was surprised to see that Pack & Paddle was nominated in the Kayak Angling Retailer/Outfitter category. Louisiana is well represented with not only us being nominated, but also the Bayou Coast Kayak Fishing Club forum, Point Aux Chenes as a fishing location and Ben Roussell for his excellent blog.

When doing this survey, you can skip pages if you don’t know who to vote for. I’ve listed a few local options you could choose along with Pack & Paddle if you would like.
On the boats page – pick whatever kayak you like best. Of course something from Native, Widerness Systems, Hobie, Jackson or NuCanoe would be great.
On the Forum – support local and pick Bayou Coast. Not sure on the magazine.
On most innovative product, I like the Jackson High Seat.
I like Kayak wars for online tournament.
Don’t forget to pick Pack & Paddle for retailer.
And of course Point Aux Chenes is the good local choice for location.
For blog of the year, you could pick local blogger Ben Roussel for his Mountains to Marsh blog.
