We don’t have every detail quite in place yet – But Becky and I are super excited to have worked out a special deal to bring the Boulder Adventure Film Festival World Tour for a stop right here in Lafayette. This puts us on the map with places like Boulder, Jackson Hole and Asheville. Mark your calendars for Saturday March 3rd at 6pm.
The by-line for the Boulder Adventure Film Festival is: “The international arena for the best and most inspiring independent films of the year encompassing all aspects of adventure, from serious exploration to environmental heroism to gripping tales from the edge of believable.” What could be a better film festival for Pack & Paddle?!!!
The films are very, very unique and encompass a wide range of interests. Click here to view a listing of possible films for our venue. I got so excited when I read about these films. Many are absolutely perfect for the outdoor community of Lafayette. The film selection includes so much more than chest-thumping action sports films. These films dig beneath the surface on many fronts to present adventure, enviromentalism and culture.
We love getting together will all of you for the film festival evening every year. It’s grown every year and we’re looking forward to seeing you soon!
