Saturday June 25, 2011 – Saturday June 25, 2011
Description:
Join us as we paddle through narrow twisting bayous near age-old cypress that are gnarled from centuries of wind and weather. Our path will take us through Bayou Grand Gueule, along the cypress riddled bank of Lake Dauterive and then back through the twisty, turny Bayou Benoit in returning to the landing. We’ll enjoy a meal at the take-out after we arrive back from the trip. This trip is marked by its spectacular paddle through Lake Dauterive’s 2,000 year old cypress as well as exploring the maze of cuts through Bayou Grand Gueule.
