The Cajun Invasion’s mission is to “Awaken the Dragon” within us through the sport of Dragon Boat Racing, regardless of age or athletic ability, as we strive to show how to live a life full of wellness, competition and FUN. Join the team!
The Cajun Cyclists are a group of enthusiasts whose main goal is to promote the sport of bicycling in South Louisiana. Their efforts include leading rides, bicycle advocacy, event organization, and of course logging many miles throughout the year. Visit their website for the ride schedule and bike routes!
You don’t need a reservation or experience to climb at the Rok Haus. We will fit you in climbing shoes and a harness and instruct you on the use of our facility and gear. Then you are welcome to climb as long as you like.
TRAIL is a non-profit organization dedicated to building and maintaining parks, paths and trails for hiking, walking, running, kayaking, biking and canoeing. Recreational infrastructure development is how TRAIL promotes the motto of the 4 E’s: Experience, Educate, Exercise and Enjoy.
The Teche Ecology, Culture and History Education Project started in 2009 in St. Landry Parish. The organization is made up of individuals passionate about making Bayou Teche a healthier waterway for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, tubing and even swimming!
The Acadian Group is a local/regional group of the Delta Chapter of the Sierra Club. We are based in Lafayette, Louisiana with members throughout Southwest Louisiana, the Coastal Cheniers, the Cajun Prairie, Atchafalaya Basin and Bayou Teche Country.
